Chapter 1
{Lizzy's P.O.V}
"Gosh man, I'm so excited I can die of happiness right now!" I told Maya as we were getting ready to board the plane on our way to London, England.
"Same, bro!" she high-fived me.
Maya was my best friend since middle school. She had purple tips on her hair and at the very bottom of her fringe. She also always wore the perfect amount of eyeliner, you can probably say that we looked some what similar, except the hair. She had purple, I had red.
We gave our tickets to the lady at the front. She punched a hole in them, gave it back to us and told us to go ahead.
"Oh, what seat did you get?" I asked her as we were walking.
She looked at her ticket. "12b," she responded.
"Cool, I got 12a, right next to you!" I grinned.
We high fived and boarded the plane.
We put our carry-on luggage on the top of our seats.
"Ha! I get window seat!" I grinned.
"Whatever, dude," she replied smiling.
~~~
About a couple of hours later, we finally reached London.
Once we got our luggage from the scanners, we exited the airport and called a taxi to the nearest hotel.
"This is fucking unreal right now, holy shit!" I said as we entered our hotel room.
"Lizzy! This is like the most awesomest hotel room in the history of man kind!" Maya exclaimed happily.
"We got a good view of the- the city thing!" I said trying to find the right words.
"C'mon, we'll unpack later, I wanna go explore!" said Maya impatiently.
I got my wallet out of my bag and checked to see if I had money, which I did, but not the right kind. "Dude, we gotta go change the money."
"Right, forgot about that," she remembered. "Let's see if they have some money exchange booth down in the lobby area."
I nodded and followed her out of the door.
"Excuse me? I'd like to know if..." Maya started saying to the lady at the front desk. I wasn't paying attention, but looking around the hotel taking in every image of it.
"Lizzy," Maya snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Hm, yeah?" I replied.
"Your name,"
"Right, um, I'm Elizabeth Perez," I said to the lady behind the desk.
"Right... How much money do you want to trade?"
"200 dollars,"
"Okay... One sec," she fiddled with the machine behind her and turned to face me. "Okay, here you are, have a good one!" she smiled.
"Thanks!" we said simultaneously.
"Where to first?" I asked.
"I don't know, let's just walk around, see what we find," she responded.
We were walking around for a good 20 minutes, taking pictures here and there, me imitating people's accents along the way and Maya telling me to shut up.
"Dude, my legs hurt, can we sit on the bench?" Maya asked.
Since the bench was next to a campus, a bunch a college and university students were crowded around the whole thing, luckily, the bench was free.
"Fine, but only until we find a food place because I'm starving!" I said rubbing my stomach.
{Dan's P.O.V}
"Phil! Hurry up will you?" I said impatiently.
"Okay, Okay, I'm coming!" responded Phil, my best friend, jogging to me slightly.
"Finally! It took you ages in there!"
"The line was long, calm yourself,"
"Anyway," I said, "let's just go down to the campus and see if we find Finn and Jack. I need them for my video." I grinned.
As we were walking Phil stopped me half way to the campus.
"What?" I asked.
"Look," he sad slightly pointing at something.
"Look at what?"
"Them! Those two girls! The one with the purple in her hair caught my attention," he said all dreamily.
"Phil I don't see any- oh, I see now, but my eyes are on the one with red in her hair."
"D'you think we should go and talk to them?" he asked not taking his eyes off the girl.
"Let's give it a shot," I said.
We walked a bit closer to them when we heard the one with red hair say "C'mon, man, let's continue exploring, Sam from Asking Alexandria said they have the best coffee in the world here in London, and I wanna see if it's better than New York's!"
"You and your coffee comparisons." said the purple haired girl.
"They're from New York!" I told Phil, who imitated the same facial expression as me.
"That's awesome!" he said.
"Let's go!"
We walked more closer to them until we were finally right behind them.
Phil backed me up a bit and said, "Wait, what do we say?"
I thought about that for a bit, then said "I know! So we'll just casually walk over, and you push me slightly, so I bump into the red haired girl, she'll turn around and we just start from there!"
Phil thought for second, "Doubt it will work, but it's worth a try. Maybe it'll turn into a video idea!" he grinned.
I high-fived him and we started towards the girls once again.
"Start a convo!" I mouthed.
He nodded and thought of something. "Dan, dare me to touch the back of your neck?"
"No! I hate when people do that!" i said.
He reached out to touch my neck, but I moved and bumped into the red haired girl.
She turned around and looked at me with her chocolate brown eyes. Damn, she was prettier up close.
"Sorry 'bout that, didn't mean to," I said apologetically.
Phil was fixing his hair, then immediately stopped when the purple haired girl turned around.
"Nah, it's cool, don't worry about it," she smiled.
She looked at me for a moment as if trying to figure something out of me. "Hey..." she started.
"Yes...?" I responded back unsurely.
"Aren't you... Dan? Dan-is-not-on-fire?"
I immediately smiled. "Yup. I am." I chuckled.
"And you..." said the one with purple hair to Phil, "You're Phil! Amazing-Phil!"
Phil chuckled and blushed, "Yeah."
"This is awesome!" Said the red haired girl excitedly. "I never knew I'd actually get to meet you in person!"
"Well, never say never!" I laughed.
"I'm Lizzy by the way," she said and extended her hand for me to shake. "Big fan!" her smile was heart warming.
I shook it and looked at the purple haired girl.
"Maya," she responded and waved shyly. "And also a huge fan of both!"
"Nice to meet you!" me and Phil said in unison.
They chuckled.
"Um, we overheard you girls say that you wanted to taste the best coffee here, and we think we might know a place," I told them smiling.
"Do you?" said Maya.
I nodded.
"Mind taking us there?" asked Lizzy.
"Follow us!" Phil said.
They smiled and followed us.
